Jamestown (CSi) The 37th Annual El Zagal Mystics Fish Fry will be on Friday March 2nd at Shady’s Banquet Room at the Gladstone Inn & Suites in Jamestown, from 4:30-p.m, to 7:30-p.m.
On Wednesday’ Wayne Byers Show, on CSi Cable 2, Craig Mehlhaff said, tickets are: Adults $15, Children 6-12 years old $5, and under 6 are free, and are available in advance from a Mystics member or at the door.
Tickets available at Shady’s, Sabir’s in Jamestown, Jonny B’s, and from any Mystics member, or at the door.
(Tickets are NOT deductible for charitable purposes. All proceeds do NOT go to Shrine Charities.)
Craig said in addition to cod fish the menu will include: Baked Beans, Roasted Potatoes Cole Slaw, Buns & Butter, with pop, milk, water and coffee. The dessert will be root beer floats, and ice cream will be available.
Local businesses contributing to the menu items.
Local restauranteurs will be adding their touches to the menu items.
Craig pointed out that the funds raised go to support the services of the Shrine Hospitals, including transportation for parents, along with health screenings.
He added that funds raised locally support food pantries, SAFE Shelter, and the Christmas Shop with a Cop Program for children.
Craig said the Gun Raffle tickets are available at $100 each with the proceeds benefit those Shrine causes.
He said there are 400 tickets available, with good odds of winning, plus ticket winners go back for other drawings.
The guns from Gun-n-Reel Sports Shop in Jamestown, where guns won in the drawing can be exchanged for cash or other non-gun items in the store, of equal value, or pay a cash difference.
There will also be a cash drawing.
Craig reminded residents that the Jamestown-Valley City Shrine Circus is Tuesday, April 3rd, with ONE PERFORMANCE ONLY, at the Jamestown Civic Center.
