Jamestown  (CSi)   A no travel advisory has been issued for Stutsman County, Monday afternoon.

Sheriff Chad Kaiser reports that due to heavy snow blanketing the area and dropping temperatures, no travel is being advised for all of Stutsman County.

He says county snow plows will go out Monday evening or early Tuesday.

The Law Enforcement Center closes at 2-p.m., Monday.  Non-essential employees will be sent home then, and the courthouse closes.

A no travel advisory means weather conditions are rapidly deteriorating and could lead to dangerous and hazardous travel. Motorists should not travel due to hazardous conditions which may make it unsafe to travel.
