Update…

Jamestown  (CSi) A Jamestown man was admitted to the State Hospital and then charged and remanded to the Stutsman County Correctional Center, following an incident, early Monday morning.

The police report released says 54 year old Douglas Shawn Ferrell faces charges of harassment and terrorizing after he called police about 1-a.m. reporting a woman had been shot twice and was dying, at a Jamestown motel, and then hung up.

Police traced the cell phone to Ferrell, and the location from which the call was made, and upon arriving at the Buffalo Motel authorities found no victim.

No one was hurt in the incident.
