Washington (CSi) – Congressman Cramer announced that President Trump signed H.R. 2154 into law to rename the Red River Valley Agricultural Research Center in Fargo, North Dakota, as the Edward T. Schafer Agricultural Research Center.
Cramer introduced H.R. 2154 on April 26, 2017, which passed in the House of Representatives on May 17, 2017. The Senate passed the bill by unanimous consent on March 14.
“I’ve begun working with USDA officials on plans for a naming ceremony at the facility in Fargo later this year. I look forward to unveiling new signage that will serve as testimony to Ed’s contribution to agriculture in our state and nation,” said Cramer.
