Learn the basics and advanced techniques to create and make your own Homemade Greeting Cards. Carla Sayler of Blessing by Carla will guide you through the steps needed to design, create , assemble and complete beautiful homemade greeting card. All materials are included from flowers to dollies and students may also use rubber stamps, embossing folder and die cuts. Students will be able to create two or more greeting cards in this class and will have an idea of what equipment you will need to acquire to make your own greeting cards at home. All supplies included to make 3 different style cards.

The 54th JFAA Annual Art Show will be exhibiting through November 3rd.
This show is incredibly diverse. Showing works from sixty-seven artists with 141 pieces on display.
The largest category is painting followed closely by photography. This year also saw an increase in ceramics, mosaics and encaustics.
The public can vote on for the People’s Choice Award.
Previously: Open Mic Night on Thurs Oct 25 at 7:30pm with Steve . All performers are welcome to share your talent with the community at our monthly open mic night. There will be a sign up sheet at the door. Please limit your piece to 10 minutes. A P.A. system, bass amp, guitar amp and music stands will be provided and facilitated by local musician Steve Kuykendall. The Open Mic night event will be moved back into The Arts Center gallery starting in September. If you haven’t yet found the courage to get up on stage, you are welcome to just sit back and enjoy the local talent.
There is no cost to participate or simply enjoy.
