I-29 and US 52 sections of highway opened, ND 200 remains closed due to flooding

The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) and the North Dakota Highway
Patrol have OPENED I-29 near Grand Forks and sections of US 52 near Fessenden and
Sykeston.
ND 200 near Hurdsfield remains closed due to flooding. Motorists are advised to
check road conditions before travel due to flowing water levels changing in some
areas throughout the weekend.

Section of Highway closed due to water on roadway:

*   ND 200 from Hurdsfield to US 52 Junction (approximately 15 miles) from mile
marker 254 to 268. Motorists need to use alternate routes.
The NDDOT encourages motorists to check road conditions before traveling due to
rapidly changing conditions. For updated road information, call 511 from any type of

Road closed signs and barricades are placed on roads and bridges for the safety of
the traveling public. It is against the law to drive past a road closure device on a
closed road. Motorists who drive around signs or move barricades are unnecessarily
