“As per our Medical Director, Dr. Myra Quanrud:
The Anne Carlsen Center elected to have our residential students stay home from on-site classes for a few days as a precautionary measure. With a significant population of individuals with medical fragility, our standard procedure is to limit potential exposures for those we serve as well as our staff. Current influenza cases are relatively few, and our goal with these actions is to prevent a more serious situation. We expect our students to be back in class soon.”
