Beverly Wolff, 80, Jamestown, ND passed away peacefully Monday evening November 2, 2020 at the Ave Maria Village in Jamestown with her husband by her side.
Beverly Grant was born February 24, 1940 at Ute, IA, the daughter of Everett and Genevieve (Black) Grant. She attended school at Anthon, IA and graduated from Anthon High School in 1958. She then attended Westmar College where she received her teaching degree in 1960.
Bev and Clayton Wolff were married June 5, 1960 at Anthon, IA. They made their home in Fenton, IA where their 1st 2 daughters, Wendy and Penny were born. While living in Fenton, Bev taught Kindergarten for 2 years. In 1969, they moved to Streeter, ND and started farming. Their 3rd daughter, Kelley was born.
Bev was a wonderful baker and cook and learned quickly how to make German dishes. She was especially good at making kuchen. She was very involved in the community over the years with singing in various groups, teaching Sunday school, 4-H leader, and spent many hours helping with her daughters’ various activities. Bev always made sure the holidays were extra special for her family. Every year the grandkids looked forward to getting their own container of her home-made cookies. She loved butterflies and had quite the collection. Bev’s true passion was spending time with her grandchildren and family.
She is survived by her husband, Clayton, Jamestown, ND; 3 daughters, Wendy (Wade) Kaseman, Lincoln, ND; Penny Dockter, Jamestown, ND; Kelley (Kyle) Jose, Lincoln, ND; 7 grandchildren, Trevor, Lane (Mikaila), Alex, Kaseman; Micah, Lucas Dockter; Tyler and Hailey Jose, 1 great grandchild, Madison Dockter, 1 brother, David (Nancy) Grant, Aurora, CO and 3 sisters, Lucille VanOrnam, Fresno, CA; Diane (Darold) Wolff, Waverly, IA and Sheryl Weller, Cedar Falls, IA.
Bev was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 1 grandson.
