Jeanette Beyer, 89, Jamestown, ND died Fri Nov 13, 2020 at her home in Jamestown.
Jeanette was born Dec 29, 1930 at Alfred, ND, the daughter of Edwin and Pauline (Pfeifle) Widmer. She attended the local rural school where she received her elementary education and grew to womanhood.
She and Clarence Beyer were married May 26, 1947 at Jamestown. They made their home on a farm near Montpelier. In 1973 they moved to Jamestown where she managed the Jamestown Truck Plaza restaurant. She then went to work as a cook at the Anne Carlson School and later Ave Maria. She retired in the late 1990’s but continued to work at the Arc Aid and kept busy doing various jobs.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Jeanette loved gardening especially bright flowers.
Jeanette is survived by her children, Jim (Summer Boltz) Beyer and Candi (Dan) Engdahl, all of Jamestown, ND; 13 grandchildren, several great grandchildren; and 1 sister, Phyllis Schlenker, Zillah, WA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1995, 1 son, Don, 1 daughter, Linda, 1 daughter-in-law, Beckie, 1 grandson, 2 great grandsons, and 1 great granddaughter, 1 brother and 2 sisters.
