Linda Enger, the daughter of Hartvick and Mabel (Schwanke) Enger, was born December 27, 1960 in Jamestown, ND. The family lived in Marion, ND for four years and then moved to Valley City. Linda grew up and received her education in Valley City. She graduated from Valley City High School and received a double major in Music and Elementary Education from Valley City State University. She then attended NDSU in Fargo where she received a Master’s Degree in Guidance Counseling. She taught Music Education in Abercrombie, ND and was a Guidance Counselor in Casselton, ND. Linda then served as a Guidance Counselor at Washington Elementary School in Fargo, ND for 20 years. Linda was united in marriage to Brian Bayman and then Dan Muellenberg. Linda had two daughters, Breanna, and Kimberly Muellenberg. Her daughters were her entire world. Besides being an amazing mother, Linda was a Sunday school teacher and a confirmation leader. She loved gardening, singing, music, bike rides, and walking with her friends. She spent most of her time with her daughters and attending their various activities. Linda will be remembered for her cheerful smile, loud laugh, and her loving character. Linda became a resident of the Sheyenne Care Center in Valley City following an illness and accident. She was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Valley City and Hope Lutheran Church in Fargo.
Linda is survived by her two daughters, Breanna Muellenberg, Fargo, ND and Kim Muellenberg, Moorhead, MN; her mother, Mabel Enger, Valley City, ND; two sisters, Carol (Ralph) Smith, Havana, ND and Judy (Dan) Anderson, Valley City, ND.
Linda was preceded in death by her grandparents and her father.
