James Noel Andres, 78, Jamestown, North Dakota died on January 5, 2021 at his home.
James was born on December 25, 1942 in Jamestown, the son of Richard and Bertha (Stolz) Andres. He attended Pingree and Sydney rural schools. James lived in Sydney, ND working eight years for McElroy Farms. Then, Jamestown for 22 years working for Harold Andres and then for numerous years at John Deere. In Pingree he lived for 19 years and worked eight years for Marvin Thompson. James spent five years in the Army.
He is survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
James is preceded in death by sisters: Sylvia (Wilbert) Hoffman, Jamestown, Doris (Calvin) Spitzer, Billings, MT, Jean (Ken) Gerber, Montpelier, ND, Betty (Elmer) Pfaff, Tappen, ND, brother, Bill (Denise) Andres, Apple Valley, MN, infant sister, Joan Andres, and parents.
Prayer Service: 6 PM, Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Eddy Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 2 PM, Friday, January 8, 2021 at Eddy Funeral Home with pastor Bryce Tahran officiating.
Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are in the care of Eddy Funeral Home.
