Lola Mae Conley nee Anderson, age 91, of Jamestown, ND passed away Sunday, February 14, 2021. She was the beloved matriarch of the Conley Family and was born in Marion, N.D. to Ted and Elsie Anderson. She was the second youngest of seven siblings.
Lola married Wesley Earle Conley on May 26, 1948 in Sanborn, ND. She was a manager at Sears in Jamestown, ND and later worked at the family machinery dealership, Conley Implement, at Urbana, ND. She was a member of the Eastern Star, and served as North Dakota’s representative to Georgia.
Known for her competence, creativity and conversational skills, Lola could do anything she set her mind to. She possessed many talents, and had a bright and curious mind with an uncanny knack for mechanics. A prolific textile artisan, she made over 25 hand stitched quilts in her lifetime. Out of all of her accomplishments, Lola took the most pride in being an exceptional grandmother and great-grandmother. Her hard work, charming humor, hospitable spirit, and generous heart has made a lasting impact on the many people who know and love her well.
She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and cooking. But most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her two sons, Al and Cole, six granddaughters; Shayne Fettig Hughes (John), Stephanie Sanders (Tom), Shea Nichole Conley, Lacey Enger (Justin), Piper Larson (Josh), Calli Stoudt, and 17 great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Elsie, her siblings; Ethyl, Wiley, Evelyn, Bill, Lloyd, and Mary Louise, and her daughter-in-law; Colleen Conley.
Visitation: 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday, February 19, 2021 at Williams Funeral Home with prayer service to follow.
Funeral Service: 3:00 PM, Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Williams Funeral Home with Pastor Bryce Tahran officiating.
Burial: Spiritwood Cemetery
