Once on the site, click the link to be directed to the secured “CodeRED Community Notification Enrollment” page.
Required information to register includes first and last name, street address, city, state, zip code, and phone numbers to be entered.

DEVILS LAKE, N.D. (AP) – The water board representing counties in the Devils Lake basin has dropped its sponsorship of a proposed floodwater outlet from Stump Lake.
Devils Lake Basin Joint Water Resource Board manager Jeff Frith
says the move came after the state increased the cost estimate from $17 million to $23.5 million.
Frith says the board still favors the idea of the outlet but the local share of
the cost would be too high.
Stump Lake has become connected to Devils Lake after two decades
of flooding.
The proposed Stump Lake outlet would complement outlets on Devils Lake’s west and east sides.
State Water Commissioner engineer Bruce Engelhardtsays he doesn’t immediately know what the local water board’s decision will mean for the proposed project.
FARGO, N.D. (AP) – Republican North Dakota Gov. Jack Dalrymple is proposing $545 million in tax cuts and says the state should play a greater role in funding education.
The plan that would be considered in the 2013 Legislature if Dalrymple wins election includes cuts in property taxes, as well as individual and corporate income taxes.
It expands the homestead tax credit for disabled and senior citizens.
Dalrymple wants a 50 percent reduction in the average school district tax levy. He says that would save the owner of a $180,000 home nearly $1,100 in property taxes.
Democratic state Sen. Ryan Taylor, who’s running against Dalrymple, says the governor is “reacting to issues long after hearing the public outcry.”
Taylor says he released his plan more than two months ago.

says he hopes to have his office hours back to normal in early
September.
In April Jaeger shortened the hours during which the public
could do business at his Capitol office.
It’s now open six hours a day instead of the normal nine hours.
Jaeger says the change gave workers time to catch up on
processing an increased number of business registrations,
contractor licenses and other paperwork.
He says it now takes about three weeks to process registration
and contractor license requests.
It was taking six weeks.
He wants to cut turnaround time to one to two weeks.
Jaeger’s office is now open from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. He wants
to go back to 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sept. 4.
