Brown, 77, Jamestown, N.D., died Wednesday, March 24, in Eventide.
No services will be held. Interment will be in Rolla, N.D.

Barbara Lynne Brown, 77, of Jamestown, North Dakota, was born February 4, 1944 to Ralph and Florence (Rothlisberger) Brown in Rolla, North Dakota. She graduated from Rolla High School in 1962 and St. Andrews School of Nursing in Bottineau, North Dakota in 1967. After working as a Registered Nurse in Phoenix, Arizona, Pensacola, Florida and Rapid City, South Dakota, she returned to North Dakota in 1975 and earned her BA Degree, majoring in Nursing from Jamestown College in Jamestown, North Dakota. At that time she started working at the North Dakota State Hospital where she continued her nursing career until her retirement. Barb also earned her Masters Degree in Nursing from South Dakota State University, in Brookings, South Dakota.
Barb was a very caring, loving and giving individual. Throughout her life she enjoyed reading, traveling, knitting, baseball and had a great love for animals. Numerous rescue cats and dogs found a forever home with her.
Barb passed away on March 24, 2021 at Eventide Care Center, Jamestown, North Dakota as a result of complications of Post- Polio Syndrome.
She is survived by one sister Cynthia J (Gary) Glader, Mobridge, South Dakota.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
Memorials can be given to the place of your choice; however, anything to help animals would be Barb’s choice.
