(CSi)  At Monday’s Jamestown Public School Board meeting, Superintendent,  Dr. Robert Lech gave his thanks to the board for their work during the COVID-19  pandemic and handling tough decisions in the past year.

Dr. Lech recognized the board for their  work in the Health and Safety plan for the district.

The LifeSmarts Team was  recognized for winning the 2020 National Competition earlier this year.

Also recognized was  Stutsman County Teacher of the Year,  Mrs.Kelly Bauer who will be eligible for North Dakota Teacher of the Year.

Food Service Director Joe Oster told the board that the number of students eating school lunch was relatively low, adding that free meals helped the program  financially recover.
