Scott Hoggarth, 54 of Jamestown, ND passed away on August 26, 2021 in Mooreton, ND. He will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Jamestown on Tuesday August 31, 2021. Scott was born at Jamestown Hospital to Duane and Cheryl Hoggarth on May 30 1967. Scott graduated from Kensal Public School and North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton. Scott married Ann (Neary) Hoggarth on April 10, 2000. They had two children Bryce and Heath Hoggarth. Scott was a farmer and rancher, co-owner of the Hillview Bar in Jamestown, and jokingly referred himself as “the biggest pig farmer in Stutsman County”. Most recently he worked for Loff Farm where they welcomed him as one of their family. Scott was always busy and enjoyed many hobbies including hunting, golf, teasing his nieces and cousins and pinochle. Scott had a quick wit, a ready laugh, was always up for mischief and stories as tall as him. He was involved in many clubs including Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, the Elks club, Ducks Unlimited and Shriners.
Scott is preceded in death by his grandparents Bill and Shirley Fletcher and Ben and Elizabeth Hoggarth. Scott is survived by his parents Duane and Cheryl Hoggarth, his sons Bryce and Heath Hoggarth, step sons John and Zach Fitzgerald, siblings Tammy Hoggarth (John Rzaszutak) Mike and Jodee Hoggarth, and Susan & Mike Migler. His nieces and nephews Ben, Eleanor and Brody Hoggarth and Jaxon, Mya and Sophie Migler.
