Walter Kozak – Thursday September 23,2021

Walter Kozak, 85, of rural Pingree, ND, passed away at his home Thursday, September 23, 2021.

Walter was born May 18, 1936, on the family farm rural Pingree, the son of Adam and Clara (Schroeder) Kozak. He attended country schools in Stutsman County and helped on the family farm. Walter continued farming and ranching on the family farmstead and enjoyed working with his horses, hunting and fishing.

Walter is survived by his daughter, Winona (Seth) Schwols; grandchildren, Veronica (Brett) Bohrer, Autumn (Robert) Greene, Elijah Kozak and Erwin Kitzan; and special friend, Diane.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jacqueline; sister, Leona Deede; and an infant sister.

Graveside Service – 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 27, 2021 at Pingree Cemetery, Pingree, ND, with Candyce Wick officiating.

Arrangements are in the care of Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.
