Valley City  (CSi)  The 2021 Northwest Membrane Operator Association Operator of the Year Award goes to Sherry Keys  of the Valley City Water Treatment Plant.

Each year, the Northwest Membrane Operator Association recognizes an Operator of the Year (NWMOA) reaches across nine states from North Dakota to Alaska and down to Utah and the Canadian Province of British Columbia.

The organization reports that Sherry Keys has been a AWWA member for 20 years.  She is a Class 4 operator of a UF/NF membrane system in a small community, “where we can all agree, the work is more than an eight hour per day job. She is committed to making the best water in the region and cares for the water plant like it is her second home. Keys goes above and beyond to ensure high quality water, gain all the knowledge about treatment and best practices that she can, and provide helpful information to the public in a friendly, knowledgeable manner.”
