Robbin Ross Jorgenson was born on March 4, 1961 in Fargo, ND to Lawrence and Verney Jorgenson. Robbin grew up in Jamestown, ND and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1979. Robbin studied Mechanical Engineering at NDSU in Fargo and was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. He later graduated from Bismarck State College with a degree in welding.
Robbin worked for Melroe Bobcat in Bismarck for 21 years. Most recently, he worked for Cornerstone Rentals MGT, as their maintenance man.
Robbin loved racing. He was involved in motorcycle drag racing in his early years, later focusing on stock car racing and most recently his passion was truck mud racing. Robbin enjoyed working on cars and trucks, whether they were his own or someone else’s. He was very talented at anything mechanical and loved to work at his shop in Bismarck.
Robbin went home to be with his Lord on November 8, 2021 at Sanford Hospital in Bismarck. He is survived by his parents Lawrence and Verney Jorgenson, Jamestown; brother Russell (Sheryl) Jorgenson, Mason, MI; brother Randall (Judith) Jorgenson, Jamestown; as well as three nieces Gayle, Amanda and Hannah; two nephews Paul and Riley; many aunts and uncles, numerous cousins and his longtime friend Linda Boom. Robbin was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Family will be receiving friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday, November 12, 2021 at Eddy Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 13 at Concordia Lutheran Church, Jamestown, ND with Pastor Tom Eckstein officiating. Interment will be in Stiklestad Cemetery, Fort Ransom, ND.
