Valley City (CSi) Meeting in Special Session, Monday, the Valley City Public School board discussed the future of the school district, regarding the recent survey concerning school facilities, and a possible referendum.
Last evening School Board member Darin Anderson indicted that before deciding on holding a referendum, or other funding options, a number of questions need to addressed.
One question is what to do with empty school buildings, if VCPS moves forward with building a new structure.
Superintendent Johnson said anyone who wants to provide additional input or comment about the school districts proposed plans or options concerning their facilities should call the district office at 701-845-0483 or email Superintendent Josh Johnson at josh.johnson@k12.nd.us
The Valley City School Board will address those issues at the next meeting, on December 15.
The Valley City Public School District recently conducted a community survey to determine which direction the public wanted the school district to pursue following their “Exploring the Future of School Facilities” presentation.
