North Dakota Voters will cast ballots for state senators and representatives from odd-numbered legislative districts in the 2022 Primary Elections, which includes District 29.  The District 29 races will be decided during the General Elections on November 8, 2022.

State Senator Terry Wanzek, (R)-Jamestown, and State Representatives, Craig Headland, (R)-Montpelier, and Don Vigesaa, (R)-Cooperstown, are were endorsed, by Republicans.

House Majority Leader Chet Pollert, (R)-Carrington, and Representative . Bill Devlin, (R)-Finley, have previously announced they will not run for re-election.

Two Democratic candidates were endorsed by the District 29 Democratic-NPL    For the State Senate was Ben Vig, of Sharon, North Dakota,  Charles Linderman, of Carrington, was endorsed for the North Dakota House of Representatives.

Vig, chairman of the District 29 Democratic-NPL, served in the Legislature during the 2007 and 2009 legislative sessions as a member of the House of Representatives.   Linderman served in the Legislature during the 1983, 1985, 1987 and 1991 legislative sessions.
