A private memorial service will be held by his family on July 2, 2022 at East Side Cemetery in Stoughton, WI.

Timothy Wayne Tarpinian, 64, passed away from prior medical conditions on December 1, 2021, in Deming, New Mexico. He was born on January 16, 1957 in Thief River Falls, MN, son of Grant and Rose Marie “Sue” (Ryan) Tarpinian.

As a child, life was never dull when Tim was out and about. He was adventurous, inquisitive, and at times, mischievous, but he always had a heart of gold. As many would attest, his generosity was amongst his greatest gifts. Tim had early plans to be an aircraft mechanic, but the airline industry was cutting back just as he completed his training. Instead, he took a variety of jobs as he worked his way west across the country. He settled in California, where he worked at Pacific Bell Telephone Company as a Call Center Operator for over 20 years. Leaving California after his retirement, he moved to Tennessee, then later, to Abbotsford, WI, where he worked at Welcome Dairy for five years. Never being a fan of the Wisconsin “cold”, however, he decided to move to the warmth of New Mexico to begin another adventure. His whole life, Tim was a dreamer… always reaching for the “brass ring”. He made it to New Mexico, but passed away shortly thereafter.

Tim is survived by his sons TJ (Brandy) Tarpinian of Winnebago, IL; Craig (Sandy) Robinson of Portage, WI; and daughter Stacy Ryan of Oxnard, CA; his mother Sue Tarpinian of Stoughton, WI; and his brothers Grant (Cathy) of Comstock, WI; Larry Scott of Portsmouth, VA, and Gary (Donna) of Stoughton, WI. Tim had three grandchildren: Jenny, Mariah, and William; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Tim was preceded in death by his father, Grant (2016); and his sister, Jennifer Jean (1975), both of Stoughton, WI.

Tim was certainly loved by his family, and will be deeply missed.
