Lu Ann Oberg, age 69, of Waubun, Minnesota, died Saturday, July 9, 2022 at her brother’s home in Eleva, Wisconsin after a 6-month battle with Small Cell Lung Cancer.
Lu Ann was born March 4, 1953, in Jamestown, North Dakota to Marcus and RaeAnn (Mueller) Paulson.
She is survived by her husband Dan; her mother, RaeAnn; sister Janis (Brent) Wallender; brother Marc (Jackie); several nieces and nephews and their families; and her fur babies; Hattie and Bailey. Also surviving Lu Ann is her beloved second family; Diane and Darwin Lunski; Tami (late husband Troy) Srnsky; and “her boys,”: Zachary, Branden (Jensen); and Trever. She was “Wooo” to her boys and “Great Wooo” to Sawyer Lunski.
Lu made close circles of friends wherever she lived; they all feel her loss deeply.
She was preceded in death by her father; her best friend Sandy; and her treasured fur babies.
A special Thank you to St Croix Hospice, Eau Claire, Wisconsin for their expedited service and heartfelt care given to Lu and her family.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 2:00pm-5:00pm at The Elks Lodge, Jamestown, North Dakota. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be given in LuAnn’s name to St Croix Hospice Eau Claire, 1280 West Clairemont Avenue #4, Eau Claire, Wisconsin 54701; or a Dog Shelter of your choice.
Lu would not want you to shed a tear, but instead, raise a “BUSCH LIGHT” in her memory.
