Janice Marie Haas, 81, Jamestown, ND, passed away peacefully Friday, October 28th at Jamestown Regional Medical Center. She holds a very special place in heaven today.
Janice was born on October 30, 1940, the daughter of William and Magdalena Moser of Medina, ND. She was the youngest of ten children. She grew up by Medina, ND, with her family, who experienced the loss of three children at a young age.
After high school, Janice moved to Oakland, California to attend beauty school. She married Elmer Reich in July of 1962, had two children, and lived in California until they moved back to Cleveland, ND. She married Arlen Haas in February 1982. They spent their married life in Jamestown, ND.
Janice owned “Foxy Lady” beauty shop in Jamestown. She enjoyed making jewelry, collecting porcelain dolls, and anything to do with butterfly’s. She loved spending time shopping with her sisters. She was very proud of her grandchildren and they hold a special place in her heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Magdalena Moser; brothers, Adolph Moser, Harold Moser, and Willis Moser; sisters, Lorraine Kerner, Dorthy Moser, and Delores Moser.
She is survived by her sweetheart, Arlen Haas; sons, Troy (Lisa) Reich and Scott Reich; sisters, Martha Trautman, Doretta Carrion, and Marilyn Zimmerman; and three grandchildren Zac Reich, Zeb Reich, and Miranda Reich.
A family memorial service will be held at Eddy Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 3, 2022. Burial will take place after the service at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown.
