Valley City (CSi) Using COVID-19 and Building Fund dollars the Valley City Public School Board continues to look at the two best options for a two-phased remodel and renovation plan.
At the December 21 School Board meeting, Superintendent Josh Johnson presented designs and proposals drafted by JLG Architects.
Johnson said the scope includes demolition of the school district office, along with building a new student parking lot, a remodeled library and a few classrooms, plus a district garage/storage building.
Johnson said the cost estimate of $7.9 million for phases I & II.
The school board has three options to look at at this time, however nothing was finalized.
Johnson said the school board will discuss their concerns and ideas on the proposed design plans of Phases I & II and feasible funding options at the January 18, 2023 school board meeting at 5:30pm.
