(CSi) Smoke was reported Tuesday afternoon at Seibold Hall on the University of Jamestown campus. The fire call went out at 3:31pm. Students were evacuated from Seibold Hall. The cause of the smoke was found to be an overloaded washer. Smoke was extracted from the building. The JFD was on scene 20 minutes with 5 fire trucks and 20 fire fighters on hand. No injuries were reported.

Earlier Tuesday at 2:38pm, the North Dakota Highway Patrol flagged down a truck with smoke coming from it. The truck stopped on 19th Street SE by Scherbenske’s Gravel Pit. Jamestown Fire Department arrived on scene and the truck was fully engulfed in fire. The fire was put out by JFD. Four fire trucks and 19 fire fights were on scene for 30 minutes with no injuries reported.
