ESPNwoodchipperPLUSFARGO, N.D. (AP Sept 19,2013) – A movie prop used in an unsettling scene from the movie “Fargo” will be part of Saturday’s ESPN broadcast from the city of the same name.

Charley Johnson with the Fargo-Moorhead Convention and Visitor’s Bureau says the wood chipper from the movie “Fargo” will be on the set of “College GameDay.”

In the movie, one of the characters met his fate through the device.

The visitor center later bought it and put it on display.  Johnson says  he doesn’t know how the ESPN crew will use it.

Game Day can been seen Saturday Sept 21, 2013 from 8-a.m. to 11-a.m., on CSi Cable 14.

Senatore John Hoeven wrote to ESPN President John Skipper and Executive Vice President for Production John Wildhack to press for NDSU’s selection to host ESPN’s College Gameday.
