Jamestown – Phase two of the Storm Sewer project near Buffalo Mall, is a go, with a vote of 3-0, at the February 22nd Jamestown City Council Meeting. The council approved of the new 96″ storm sewer project. The City will run new storm sewer pipe from 25th street, under Highway 281 North & I-94.

With the City Council approving the second phase of the project, an application will be sent to the Disaster Water Grant program through the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development, for a yet to be determined amount. A preliminary engineering report is requested by the council . 

The second phase will start from just north of 25th street SW, where Phase 1 ended last fall to replace the failed pipe near Taco Johns.
