Jamestown Chamber – The Customer Service Award for September goes to Penny Steckler with Bank Forward for their outstanding customer service, presented by members of the Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Committee and the Young Professionals of Jamestown.

The chamber honors individuals who demonstrate a consistent commitment to delivering products or services that satisfy customers by exceeding their requirements or expectations.

Their nomination letter said:

“Penny greeted me with a smile, offered me a chair, and began helping me right away even though she was working on something else. She made me feel so welcome and comfortable in her presence. I had waited 1.5 years to come in to open a CD because of how bad my anxiety is. With Penny, I felt so welcome that I had no anxiety. Penny’s personality is exceptional, she truly brightens your day. She is very time efficient as well as I was on my way within minutes. Penny made sure to give me great information such as the benefits of having a beneficiary attached to the CD. I couldn’t have had a better experience. I will be back thanks to Penny and her wonderful personality.
