JAMESTOWN – The University of Jamestown women’s wrestling team hosted its first home dual of the season Wednesday evening against Minot State University. The dual ended in a 20-20 final score at Harold Newman Arena.
UJ took a 10-0 lead after the Beavers were open at 117 and 124, then MSU got a pin at 131 and tied the dual after the Jimmies were open at 138.
Ann Marie Meiman pinned Megan Ebach in 1:31 at 145, then Allyssa Johnson followed with a pin of Haleigh Lematta in 1:22 at 160.
The Beavers closed out the dual with pins at 180 and 207.
Jamestown is back in action on Saturday, January 18, at the York (Neb.) Open.
