VALLEY CITY, N.D. (Valley News Live) – The city of Valley City has entered into contracts for a new Public Works Service Center.

The city tells Valley News Live it has entered those contracts for engineering design and architectural work. Through a competitive and public process, EAPC Architects & Engineers and McGough Construction were selected. During numerous meetings with city officials, it’s been recommended the City Commission allocate up to $15 million for the project.

Bids have been solicited for the pre-engineered metal building portion of the project to help identify costs and stay on schedule. A construction contract has yet to be approved and no bids have been approved. Final costs have also not been determined.
