Kenneth Eugene Koslofsky, son of Irvin A & Delayne D. (Olson) Koslofsky, was born on June 18, 1954, at Mercy Hospital, Valley City, ND. Ken passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on March 28, 2025, after a short battle with cancer.
He grew up on the family farm by Fingal, ND. He attended and graduated from Fingal High School in 1972. Soon after graduation he started farming with his father and brother and continued until his retirement.
He was baptized in the Lutheran faith on July 25, 1954, and confirmed in the Lutheran faith on May 11, 1969. Over the years he has been on the Messiah Lutheran Church council, including serving as president.
He was united in marriage to Betty Storhoff on November 5, 1977, at St. Petri Lutheran Church, rural Nome, ND. They joyously welcomed their son, Kyle, in 1983, who is now managing the family farm.
Kenny was a very active member of the Fingal Wildlife Club, serving on the board of directors and serving as president and secretary over the ears. He enjoyed his hunting trips to western North Dakota and hunting close to home. His fishing was best on Devils Lake or Lake Ashtabula with family and friends. These later years he enjoyed working on his 1968 Camaro and taking it to car shows.
He is survived by his wife, Betty, son Kyle, brothers Ron (Chris), Fingal, ND; Gary, special friend Virginia Callens-Gregg, Gary’s children, Collin and Caitlynn, all from Fargo, ND. Mother-in-law Phyllis Storhoff, Valley City, brothers-in-law, Jim (Marilyn) Storhoff, Lisbon, ND, Mike (Patsy) Storhoff, Nome, ND, Paul (Cherie) Storhoff, Fargo, ND, Percy (Brenda) Storhoff, Kathryn, ND and Bruce (Shalon) Storhoff, Nome, ND, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, father-in-law Edmund Storhoff, sister-in-law Rose Koslofsky, brother-in-law Rodney Storhoff and niece Teri Storhoff.
The funeral service for Kenny will be 2 pm Thursday, April 3, at Messiah Lutheran Church, Fingal. Visitation will be 5-7 pm Wednesday at the Oliver-Nathan Funeral Chapel, Valley City.
Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Fingal.
Family prefers memorials to Hillside Cemetery or Hospice of the Red River Valley.
