Betty A. Gehlhoff, 81, Valley City, ND formerly Rogers, ND passed away Friday, March 28 at SMP Health – St. Raphael, Valley City. A memorial service will be held at 6pm, Tuesday April 8 at Valley Apostolic Church, 204 5th St. NW, Valley City.

Betty was born in Chickasha, OK and later moved to Reno, NV where she met and married Bill Gehlhoff December 1960.

They moved to Montana where they had a tourist attraction, House of Mystery. Betty worked as an auditor at Grouse Mountain Lodge in Whitefish, MT. The family moved to Rogers in 1995 to be near Bill’s family. Due to a health condition, Bill was blind, and Betty was a caregiver for him until the time of his death in 2011.

Betty was an active member at First United Pentecostal Church in Valley City.

Betty is survived by her sons Daniel (Jeanette) Gehlhoff and James (Dawn) Gehlhoff; her daughter Diana D. Gehlhoff and her sisters Shirley Borum and Carol White.

Betty is preceded in death by her mother Naomi (Arvin) Hoffman, husband Bill and two sons David and Steven and her brothers Robert, John and Arvin Jr.
