VALLEY CITY, N.D. – Valley City State University track & field is on the road headed to the University of Jamestown to compete in the Al Cassell Classic on Saturday, April 19.
The Al Cassell Classic is set to begin at 12:00 p.m. with field events starting with the hammer throw. Running events will follow starting at 2:00 p.m. with the 100-meter hurdles.

To this point the Vikings have one national qualifier in Kendra Odegard who has hit the NAIA “b” standard twice in the outdoor season so far.
Viking sophomore Emma Muggli earned third place and All-Conference honors at the NSAA Multi-Events Championships. She produced a personal best 4,257 points in the heptathlon posting the ninth highest heptathlon score in the NAIA. At the end of the season the top 16 scores in the heptathlon will nationally qualify.
