The University of Jamestown men’s golf team competed on Sunday at the NDGA Open on Tuesday and Wednesday. The men competed in two teams, UJ 1 and UJ 2. UJ 1 ended day one in the top spot and maintained their position through the second day to take first place of eight teams. UJ 2 ended the rounds in fourth.
FOR THE JIMMIES – UJ 1
- Gehrig Geiss took second place at 4-over 148 (72-76), just three strokes behind the first-place finisher.
- Logan Schons followed in third place at 7-over 151 (76-75).
- Aidan Hall came in fourth place at 9-over 153 (75-78).
- Max Noffsinger tied for fifth place at 10-over 154 (81-73).
- Bodie Williams ended in seventh place at 11-over 155 (74-81).
FOR THE JIMMIES – UJ 2
- Logan Douglas took ninth place at 15-over 159 (85-74), rounding out the top 10 finishes for the Jimmies.
- Easton Romsdal came just behind, tying for 11th place at 19-over 163 (82-81).
- Aiden McLain tied for 26th place at 29-over 173 (91-82).
- Sam Boser placed 29th at 33-over 177 (93-84).
OPPONENTS
- Following Jamestown in second place was Dickson State University (DSU) Blue, and Blake Barner of DSU was the top finisher at 1-over 145 (74-71).
UP NEXT
- The men compete in the NSAA Spring Conference Championship in Lincoln, Nebraska, at the Woodland Hills Country Club on April 28th and 29th.

- Ellie Garavaglia secured a second-place finish at 19-over 163 (76-87).
- Isabella Crafford took sixth place at 31-over 175 (89-86).
- Celi Nelson followed in seventh place at 32-over 176 (83-93).
- Kacie Rexin placed 11th at 36-over 180 (92-88).
- Kyra Hager tied for 12th place at 37-over 181 (94-87).
FOR THE JIMMIES – UJ 2
- Taylor Martin led UJ 2, tying for ninth place at 35-over 179 (97-82).
- Tori Worner tied for 12th at 37-over 181 (90-91).
- Peyton Johnson placed 15th at 42-over 186 (97-89).
- Ava Thorenson placed 18th at 56-over 200 (98-102).
OPPONENTS
- Dickinson State University (DSU) Blue took first place, and Ellie Soydara of DSU finished first for the individuals at 12-over 156 (81-75).
