Anna M. Woodward, 92, of Jamestown, ND, passed away Thursday afternoon, June 12, 2025 at Eventide, Jamestown.

Anna was born June 27, 1932, at Lake Williams, ND, Kidder County, the daughter of Frederick and Karolina (Veil) Martin. She was baptized and confirmed at Petersville Lutheran Church, north of Pettibone, ND. Anna attended school through the eighth grade at Frettim Township. She was united in marriage to Clarence Woodward on March 6, 1955 at the EUB Church, Tuttle, ND. They made their home in Tuttle before moving to Jamestown in 1959. Anna was known for being a wonderful seamstress, making many wedding dresses, ladies’ wear, and upholstery work. She enjoyed gardening and going for walks. She and Clarence were married 56 years until he passed away in 2011.

Anna is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Harley) Eidsness; son, Loren (Penny) Woodward; grandchildren, Nicole, Kelsey (Carrie), Ben and April; and great-grandchildren, Harley, Owen, Easton, Julian, Alec, Alexia, and Journey,

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Elden; son, Allen, in infancy; and all eight siblings, Leonard, Edward, Alvina, Loretta, Rebecca, Louisa, Jacob, and Esther.

Funeral Service – 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Jamestown, with Pastor Michelle Brennen officiating.

Visitation – One hour before the service at the church.

Burial – Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown.
