Our precious, free-spirited little boy went to sing and dance with the angels Wednesday September 3rd, 2025 following an accident at our home. He was born January 28, 2018 in Jamestown, ND. The youngest of 8, with six siblings still at home it was quite a circus when they came to visit their new brother! Along with his strong-willed independence he was sensitive, soft-hearted and loving. He loved all things in nature, especially rocks, birds and flowers. Anything bright, colorful, sparkling, golden or novel would catch his attention and utter fascination. One of his many favorite things was exploring the tree rows and small sloughs with his brother and best friend, Peter, barefoot in pajamas if at all possible! Forever bringing in some treasure, curiosity or discovery that he wanted to learn more about. He loved climbing trees and jumping on the trampoline, especially with any older siblings he could coax out. He found pure joy in the simplest and silliest pursuits, from wearing his siblings’ old costumes all day just for fun to “writing” down the heartfelt songs he had recently sung to us. A deep love of learning and creating kept him always busy. If he wasn’t reading or adventuring there were art projects, drawings or paintings, flower arrangements, miniature habitats for small creatures or just for decoration. He was constantly helping in the kitchen or making his own recipes and took pride in caring for our garden, animals and indoor plants. One of his favorite jobs was collecting eggs. He looked forward to his Camp Holliday adventures each summer, fishing, swimming, nerf wars, movies and finding creatures by the dock. Family meant the world to him and even though he was not a fan of long car rides and could never remember he was in Minnesota and not “South Dakota” he treasured his time with grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Though he claimed to be shy, he made friends wherever he went; his exuberance and kindness apparent.
He is survived and deeply missed by his parents Tammi and Travis Lindberg; siblings: Tanner(Michelle), Trapper(Abigail), Mollie, Joe(Tevya), Ashley and Peter. Grandparents Roger and Debbie Krueger, David and Anna Lindberg. Uncles and aunts: Brian (Erin) Krueger, Lisa (Jon) Holliday, Tammy (Mike Fitzimmons) Lindberg. Cousins: Rachel(Al) Gray and family; Dr. Chris(Amy) Nord and family; Sam, Joanna, Eliza, Ben, Evie Krueger. Great uncles Albert Krueger, Murl Nord, Robert Braun and great-great aunt Doris Krueger. Special animal cousins: Jet, Jyps & Yoshi; his beloved dogs Sonny and Bessie. As well as many other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Tucker Depew; great-grandma Mary Noon; great-aunts: Sue Nord, Patti Krueger and Leona Braun.
A service will be held at Concordia Lutheran Church in Jamestown, ND on Saturday, September 13th, 2025 at 2:00pm with fellowship and desserts following. A private internment is being planned for a later date.
