Bemidji MN – The University of Jamestown women’s golf team secured a fifth-place finish at the Tracy Lane Invitational, hosted at the Bemidji Town and Country Club. The Jimmies posted a two-day team score of 692 (+116) in the nine-team event.

Kacie Rexin led the way for the Jimmies, firing an impressive second-round 79 to finish in a tie for third place individually. Her two-day total of 164 (+20) was the top score for Jamestown.
Celi Nelson was the next finisher for the Jimmies, tying for 13th place with a score of 171 (+27). Isabella Crafford placed 19th with a 175 (+31).
Rounding out the Jimmie lineup were Ellie Garavaglia, who tied for 28th with a 182 (+38), and Karsyn Swigart, who tied for 35th with a 189 (+45).
Concordia-St. Paul took home the team title with a score of 666 (+90). Mary’s Annie Neva and Concordia-St. Paul’s Addi Wood both tied at 17-over-par 161, but Wood won the tiebreaker with a better second round score.
Next up for the Jimmies is the Maverick/Golden Bear Fall Brawl on September 15-16 in Hudson, Wis.
