Jamestown (UJ) – The University of Jamestown will host a dedication ceremony for the Unruh School of Character in Leadership and the Reuben and Clarice Liechty Center for Faith and Life on Friday, September 26, 2025, at Voorhees Chapel.

The event begins at 4:00 PM and will celebrate the vision and generosity of key donors while honoring the university’s ongoing commitment to character, leadership, faith, and service.

The ceremony will include a welcome from Brett Moser, Vice President of Development, and an opening prayer by Kirstie Dobson, Director of Campus Ministry. University President Dr. Polly Peterson will share remarks, and attendees will enjoy musical performances by the Dr. Richard Smith Alumni Choir.

One of the highlights of the evening will be the viewing and blessing of The Saint John’s Bible Heritage Collection, a rare and beautifully illuminated Bible. Rev. Dr. John F. Foss will offer the blessing, and students will share testimonies before a dedication prayer concludes the program.

The celebration will also include donor tributes, recognition, and a community reception following the ceremony.
