Bismarck ND – Gov. Kelly Armstrong will host a press conference immediately following the North Dakota Industrial Commission’s special meeting Wednesday to consider approving a relief program for federal employees in North Dakota who have been furloughed because of the federal government shutdown.
The Industrial Commission, comprised of Armstrong as chairman, Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring and Attorney General Drew Wrigley, will meet at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Governor’s Conference Room on ground floor of the Capitol. Also attending the press conference will be representatives of the banking industry and communities with military members affected by the shutdown.
