The City Water Plant has announced planned road closures and temporary water outages on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, to allow for utility repairs in southwest Jamestown.

The affected areas include:

  • 400–500 block of 2nd Street SW
  • 200–300 block of 5th Avenue SW and 6th Avenue SW
  • 400–500 block of 3rd Street SW and 4th Street SW

Work is scheduled to begin at approximately 8:30 am and is expected to continue until about 5:00 pm, though the timeline may change depending on weather and work conditions.

Residents and businesses in the impacted areas may experience temporary water outages during the repair period. Motorists are advised to use caution near the work zones and take alternate routes if possible.
