The public is invited to a free presentation at the Alfred Dickey Library on Thursday, July 23 at 7:00 PM, located at 105 3rd St SE, Jamestown.
Dr. Ettie Zilber, born in a Displaced Persons camp in Landsberg, Germany, as the first child born after her parents survived the Holocaust, will share her family’s story of suffering, survival, and resilience. Drawing on her mother’s recorded memories, historical research, and her own journey retracing her parents’ footsteps, Dr. Zilber offers a moving account of growing up as part of the “Second Generation.”
Admission is free, and all attendees will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win one of several signed copies of Dr. Zilber’s book.
