The call concerned a report of smoke coming from a gutter on the structure.
There was no fire involving the structure, as the smoke was originating from a wood burning unit.
The units returned to the fire station about 10 minutes later.

Jamestown (CSi) Jamestown’s Community Christmas tree was placed in front of the Jamestown Civic Center on Wednesday (Nov 20, 2013).
The tree was cut down and moved from the Jeff Schmidtt home located at 2015 – 5th St. N.E. City Forester Doug Wiles says the tree is 50 feet tall before being placed in the holder in front of the Civic Center. He says the tree weighs 9,800 pounds.
This is truly a city project, with the tree cutting and trimming done by the city street department crew, the moving by Scherbenske and Son and the tree lights and decorations done by the Jamestown Fire Department.
The Jamestown Main Street Downtown Association will again be in charge of the City Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, Wednesday Nov. 27, 2013 at the Jamestown Civic Center.
The lighting ceremony will start at 5:15 p.m. with Christmas carols and songs, a history of the tree and a Christmas message by Deacon Tom Geffre, chaplain at Ave Maria Village.
Coffee, hot chocolate and hot cider will be served along with cookies, courtesy of the Main Street Downtown Association.

FARGO, N.D. (AP) – Democratic state Rep. Scot Kelsh, of Fargo, has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
The North Dakota State Highway Patrol says he was pulled over late Monday night.
Kelsh is a district 11 representative.
He’s been in the Legislature since 1996 and was among those who passed more stringent DUI laws in the last legislative session.
Kelsh said his attorney advised him not to comment.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) – The state Tax Department says the number of people reporting seven-figure incomes in oil-rich North Dakota nearly doubled last year, and residents’ average incomes rose 22 percent to an all-time high.
Figures released to The Associated Press show 1,126 people reported incomes of more than $1 million on their 2012 individual tax returns. That’s up from 634 in 2011.
Tax Department records show the average adjusted gross income in the state increased from $60,947 in 2011 to $74,221 last year.
Deputy Tax Commissioner Ryan Rauschenberger (RAH’-shun-bur-gur) says North Dakota has jumped from 38th in the nation in per capita personal income in 2006 to sixth highest in 2012.
Rauschenberger says the increase in the number of so-called income millionaires is largely due to payments to mineral owners by oil companies.
FARGO, N.D. (AP) – A federal judge says he’s debating a stiff sentence for a North Dakota man with a history of criminal offenses against children.
Erick McKay, of Devils Lake, pleaded guilty in federal court to two felony counts of abusive sexual contact. Authorities say the victim was a girl who was under 12 years old.
The 40-year-old was previously convicted in 2002 of shaking his infant son to death. He was first released from prison in 2008 and then in 2010 after his probation was revoked.
U.S. District Judge Ralph Erickson says in court documents that McKay’s conduct and criminal history could call for a sentence above federal guideline ranges.
Sentencing for McKay is scheduled for Feb. 12.
KENMARE, N.D. (AP) – Voters in the northwestern North Dakota city of Kenmare have narrowly defeated a $14 million school bond issue.
The money would have paid for construction of a new classroom addition and a secondary gymnasium. The bond issue also would have raised property taxes for local residents – about $268 per year for the owner of a home valued at $100,000.
Superintendent Duane Mueller says that only about half of the 425 people who voted Tuesday were in favor, when 60 percent approval was required under North Dakota law.
If the measure had been approved, grades K-12 would all have been under one roof for the first time. Elementary students currently attend classes in a building about six blocks from the high school.
MANDAN, N.D. (AP) – The Mandan City Commission has voted 3-2 to allow fireworks in city limits on New Year’s Eve.
The state Legislature earlier this year approved a bill giving communities the option of allowing fireworks to be sold and used at the end of the year.
Fireworks also are allowed in Mandan over the Fourth of July holiday. Opponents of allowing them on New Year’s Eve worry about fires in heated firework vending tents, and about noise disturbances. Supporters say there isn’t likely to be a lot of fireworks being lit if it is extremely cold outside.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) – United Tribes Technical College is becoming the first tribal college in North Dakota to ban tobacco.
The ban will go into effect on the Bismarck campus Jan. 1. College President David Gipp and others planned a policy signing ceremony Thursday, coinciding with the 36th annual “Great American Smokeout” day, an American Cancer Society campaign aimed at getting tobacco users to quit.
The college is run by North Dakota tribes. The smoke-free policy was developed by its Wellness Circle and adopted by the United Tribes Administrative Council. The policy will be printed in student and employee handbooks, and the college will offer tobacco cessation classes.

WASHINGTON (AP) – President Barack Obama has paid tribute to former President John F. Kennedy’s legacy, joining former President Bill Clinton to lay a wreath at Kennedy’s grave. Obama and Clinton held the hands of Ethel Kennedy, widow of Robert F. Kennedy, as they made their way up the stairs at Arlington National Cemetery. Michelle Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton joined the two presidents as they placed a wreath near the eternal flame that marks Kennedy’s gravesite. The daylong tribute began earlier at the White House, where Obama bestowed the Presidential Medal of Freedom on prominent Americans including Bill Clinton and Oprah Winfrey.
WASHINGTON (AP) – Problems inside the Air Force’s nuclear missile force run deeper and wider than officials have let on. The Associated Press has obtained an unpublished study for the Air Force that found “burnout” among launch officers with their fingers on the triggers of 450 weapons of mass destruction. It also cites evidence of broader behavior issues, including suicide, sexual assault and domestic violence.
WASHINGTON (AP) – Federal regulators are going to require seat belts on all new tour buses, and on buses that carry passengers on scheduled routes between cities. It’s a safety measure that’s been sought by accident investigators for nearly a half century. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says an average of 21 people in such buses are killed each year in crashes, and thousands more are injured. The agency said seat belts could reduce fatalities and moderate-to-severe injuries by nearly half.
WASHINGTON (AP) – Congressman Trey Radel (RAY’-dul) says he wants to keep serving the country. He’s also going to be serving a year of probation — his sentence after pleading guilty Wednesday to a misdemeanor charge of cocaine possession. In court in Washington, he acknowledged that he purchased 3.5 grams of cocaine from an undercover police officer. The freshman Florida Republican said in court that he wants to “come out of this stronger.” But he didn’t answer reporters’ questions about whether he would stay in office.
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) – The Coast Guard has been searching the ocean near Fort Lauderdale., Fla., for two people who were on board a jet that plunged into the water Tuesday night. The bodies of two others who were on the medical flight to Mexico have already been found. The Learjet had dropped a patient off at a South Florida hospital last night and had taken off from a private terminal at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood airport when it went down about a mile offshore. An airport spokesman says the jet had been carrying two pilots and a doctor and nurse who were returning to Mexico.
