Plans for a future Air Show in Valley City are being discussed, and could be held, possibly in another two years.
Barnes County Airport Authority board member, and Air Show organizer, Lori Jury says, says anyone purchasing Air Show tickets should save their tickets.
The Airport Authority board will take several weeks to discuss options available about what to do with those who purchased advance tickets.
Ms. Jury says, at this time no decisions have been made concerning advance tickets or a future show.
Earlier this week, Barnes County Airport Authority Board Chairman Dennis Helland asked anyone with photos of the plane in flight, on the ground or during the crash to give them to Barnes County Airport officials or the Barnes County Sheriff’s office.

Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V. News) – Patriots’ Day, Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012 will be commemorated in Jamestown with a program and a Freedom Walk/Parade through downtown Jamestown.
The event is sponsored by the Patriotic Council of our community.
This is the 11th Anniversary of the 9-11 tragedy and a chance for our Jamestown area residents to commemorate and remember the event.
Freedom Walk is a free and nonpartisan event open to the general public. This is not a platform to discuss politics or policies.
“The purpose of this event is simply to continue the traditional Jamestown Freedom Walk started several years ago to reflect on the lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001, renew our commitment to freedom and the values of our country and to honor our military members and their families and our first responders”, said Charlie Kourajian, Patriotic Council Chairman.

Police chief Scott Edinger will be the speaker.
Kourajian noted, “This will be an opportunity for the community to remember the 9-11 terrorist attack on our country and the people who perished as a result. t will also be a chance to show our appreciation and our continued support of our troops wherever they may be, abroad or stateside.
Everyone is invited to attend, the walk route is short and should be an interesting walk/mini-parade downtown. If you can’t make the walk, you are invited to come for the supper and enjoy the program.”

NEW YORK (AP) – As hockey prepared for its first work stoppage
since the 2004-05 season was wiped out, the NHL Players Association

Calgary Flames and Edmonton Oilers during a work stoppage.
The NHL’s labor contract expires at midnight Saturday night, and
a lockout appears certain. It would be the league’s fourth work
stoppage since 1992.

said his players are resigned to a work stoppage, which would
follow lockouts last year in the NFL and the NBA.
