Jamestown (CSi) Jamestown airline travelers can now book flights on SkyWest from and to the Jamestown Regional Airport.  The airline will begin jet service June 5.

On Thursday’s Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, Manager Matt Leitner said  SkyWest will have the flight schedule available on their web site, SkyWest/United Express , and the ability to make future reservations.

In reviewing the reservation website, the projected schedule* starting June 5 will be:

Jamestown to Denver:

Depart JMS  8:08am – Arrive DENVER 8:53am –  Travel time 1 hr 45 min.

Depart JMS  1:16pm  – Arrive Devils Lake 1:49pm,  Depart DL 2:19pm – Arrive DENVER 3:12pm  Travel time 2hr 56min

Denver to Jamestown:

Depart DEN 9:55am – Arrive JMS  12:56pm   travel time 1 hr 51 min.

Depart DEN 8:00pm – Arrive JMS 10:51pm  travel time 1 hr 51 min.

Meanwhile Jamestown Regional Airport is readying for SkyWest.  Leitner said that includes modifiying gate space and re-marking ramps to accommodate the larger 50 passenger aircraft. IT kiosk are being readied with United Airlines in conjunction with SkyWest flights, utilizing the Denver hub.

He added that ground service equipment is being readied, along with new signage. SkyWest’s website has Jamestown job information, with any openings availble.

With the planned hangars for the airport, Leitner said bids have been received, and officials are re-evaluating hangar specifications, and details to minimize costs. Coming under compliance with the Fire Code is being reviewed.
