Jamestown (CSi) United Blood Services will partner with local law enforcement and firefighters for “Team Law and Team Fire,” for the first ever Jamestown Battle of the Badges Blood Drive.

The drive is set for January  7-9, 2016, at the Jamestown Civic Center.

The Battle of the Badges blood drive competition allows donors to choose which agency they want to donate blood for either Team Law or Team Fire. Donors will receive a free Battle of the Badges T-shirt while supplies last.

To donate blood, volunteers must be at least 16 years old (16 year old donors need minor donor permits which are available at the blood drive), weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. A 16-year-old donor will need minor donor permits, which are available at the blood drive.

Donors can now make their appointment faster by filling out a health history questionnaire at www.unitedbloodservices.org the day of their appointment and printing off their Fast Track Donation ticket.
