Delores Haugland, 71, Jamestown, ND died Saturday December 29, 2012 at Eventide at Hi-Acres.

Delores Hoyt was born December 5, 1941 in New Rockford, ND, the daughter of Fred Hoyt and Agnes (Hoggarth) Hoyt. She graduated from McHenry High School in 1959.

She and Arnold Haugland were married September 23, 1962 in McHenry, ND. They made their home on a farm NW of McHenry until 1987 when they moved into McHenry. In 1989 they moved to Jamestown where she worked at K-Mart as a jewelry manager and retired in 2006.

She was a member of the Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in McHenry.

Delores is survived by her husband, Sigurd Arnold Haugland, Jamestown, ND; 3 children, LoriAnn (Dan) Hall, Coon Rapids, MN; Sherry Senger, West Fargo, ND; Donnly (Jodi) Haugland, Jamestown, ND; 6 grandchildren, Jacob Hall, Jordan Hall, Sierra Senger, Morgan Senger, Andrew Haugland, Allison Haugland; 1 sister, Gladys ‘Toots’ Walen, Cooperstown, ND; 3 brothers, DuWayne ‘Bud’ (Gladys) Hoyt, McHenry, ND; Edgar (Janice) Hoyt, Portland, ND; and Vernon ‘Bob’ (Sheila) Hoyt, McHenry.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 grandson, Zachary, 1 brother, Emery, and 2 sisters, Betty and Verna.

– 11:00 A.M. Thursday January 3, 2013 at the Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in McHenry, ND.

Burial

– Bethlehem Cemetery at McHenry, ND (in the spring).
