Jamestown (CSi) The deadline to file positions to run for elected offices in the June 14, 2016 election/primary was 4-p.m., Monday. (related story School Board candidates)
In Jamestown, three city council seats are up for election, those presently held by Steve Brubakken, Dan Buchanan, and Charlie Kourjian. (Kourajian has previously announced that he will not seek re-election.)
Those filling petitions for the 3 city council seats include:
- Daniel Buchanan – Incumbent
- Steven Brubakken – Incumbent
- Jeff Schwind
- Pamela Phillips
- Phillip Wallace
Those filing for City Park Board (Two positions):
- Ron Olson… Incumbent
- Mark Ukestad…Incumbent
For Stutsman County Commission primary:
Two seats are up for elections in Nov 2016, those of Mark Klose and David Schwartz.
Filing to run in the Stutsman County Commission Primary Elections are:
- David Schwartz – Incumbent
- Mark Klose – Incumbent
- Nellie Degen
- Tim Greshik
4 County Commission candidates will advance to the November general election.
