Eventidefire032816AJamestown  (CSi)  The Jamestown City Fire Department responded to a call just after 10:30-a.m., Monday to Eventide in Northeast, Jamestown.

The call came in as smoke in the basement from the boiler room.

Lt. Sheldon Mohr says the smoke had dissipated when the units arrived on scene.  There was no need to evacuate the building.

The cause was electrical in nature, and an electrician was called to the location.

No smoke damage was reported with five city fire units on scene with 28 firefighers for about a half hour.
