HaakJessicaJamesestown (CSi) – Dist 12 State Representative (D) Jessica Haak responding to the Governor’s bueget cut request says:

Further cuts this will continue to hurt District 12’s working families. Rep. Jessica Haak issued the following statement:

“The lack of leadership and an unwillingness to hold a brief, strictly-focused special legislative session to help reverse the harsh, across-the-board cuts by Governor Dalrymple and the Republican leadership is incredibly disappointing. This reduction impacts nursing homes, hospitals, children who receive therapy services, families who are looking for and need affordable childcare, especially children with special needs, and everyone who pays property taxes. We need solutions that stand up for all North Dakotans, not across-the-board reductions. That’s why we need a special session to seek accountability and target ways to address fiscal challenges without hurting domestic violence survivors, seniors, and hard working North Dakota families.”
